Continuing its tradition of year round giving, the Foundation presented a grant check of $6,000 to Peninsula Family Service on October 19th.

Based out of San Mateo, Peninsula Family Services believes in strengthening communities by providing children and families with the tools they need to lead successful, healthy lives. While the organization gives help to both adults and children, the grant of $6,000 will be used to help their daycare and child services.

The Peninsula Family Service daycare center serves over 50 children each year, ranging in ages from 18 months old to 5 years old. They provide fulltime daycare services so that struggling parents can work to secure permanent housing, find work, or attend training and educational programs. The work they do helps ensure that the children of the community grow and thrive socially, mentally, physically, and emotionally. Children are given individual attention in addition to enriching group activities.

We’re so proud to contribute to yet another noble cause in Silicon Valley!
