The Intero Foundation has issued another grant of $3,000 to the Center for the Arts Child Enrichment Program in Grass Valley.
"Julie Baker does a phenomenal job running this nonprofit and the programs for the children are a huge asset and value to the community," said John Miller, broker/owner of Intero Real Estate Services. "The positive impact this has on the children, their families and the community as a whole is the reason why this is our second grant to the program in just over two years."
Intero will host its largest fundraiser to date 4-10 p.m. Friday, June 17, at the Grass Valley Memorial. Tickets are $35 which includes concert from the band Mad Dash, performing everything from blues, rock n' roll and the classics. Admission includes dinner, catered by Bam Dazy BBQ, with a beer and wind bar, a silent auction, and a raffle.
To date, Intero has raised more than $40,000 locally and the foundation more than $4 million worldwide.
"The money we raise here, stays her to help our children," Miller said. "Every Real Estate agent in our company gives a portion of their commissions earned to our foundation. I am very proud of the fact we have 100 percent participation. We also get a great turnout from the agents, the administration staff and our preferred vendors for our fundraisers."
